My son loves Dr. I do not find it that messy as compared to a lot of craft kits out there, unless of course your squishy bursts. To make this more fun and a lengthier activity, I would suggest having food coloring and additional glitter + add-ins.

Definitely a kitchen activity because it can get messy. squish so this was on his Christmas list.

Overall, a fun concept, and my daughter really loves it! We did have one of the balloons pop off and explode on us but we got the hang of it. The kit comes with curling ribbon (useless), 2 packs of tissue paper confetti (also useless- why would anyone think this would be good in liquid? Even though all of the promotional images of this toy show brightly colored squishies, it does not come with any type of coloring- that was disappointing.

She loves it. I bought a variety pack of add-ins on Amazon which included multiple types of glitter, plastic beads, confetti in various shapes, foam beads, and clay/polymer shapes- advertised as slime add-ins. My 7 year old wanted this for Christmas.

These are a pain to clean out of carpet- make sure your child knows to put them into a bowl or bag after play! My five-year-old got this for Christmas today and we’ve already made 6 squishes. Otherwise, all the things go inside the inflated balloon, you tie it up, and done. This toy wouldn't have been nearly as fun without the additional items I purchased- my daughter loves thinking of themes and adding tons of glitter, confetti, and a few drops food coloring to her squishies.
