- I think that the opening process of this pressure cooker is really bad designed because all the hot steam touches your hand when you're opening the lid (this can be avoided by opening the lid really fast an taking back the hand as fast as possible, but I think this wasn't a consideration in the design table). 5kW around 2kW infact but as with any oven it is not constant once upto temp. Very easy to clean.

After a long day of queuing at Tesco and making a proper brew, this pot is just the ticketfor whipping up a tasty fry up in no time. I've just decanted the beginnings of my bone broth / beef stew from the dreadful Daewoo cheap, tin foil fire and burn risk slow cooker I bought yesterday (and am returning that) into this wonderful Instant Pot Pro Crisp that arrived today. I find the air fryer lid a bit fiddly to get into place, but a little wobble and push and I get there in the end. The Air Fry function kept the chips crisp yet the insides fluffy like a proper chippy.

Then this came up on a Black Friday deal and I decided to bite the bullet and give it a go. Update. . I bought a cheap blender at less than £20 and got a recipe book.

I was always scared of pressure cookers but no more. I'd usually cook broth over night on the hob. However, be wary of becoming a slave to the thing - I've started abandoning the tellyto watch the timer like Dot Cotton in Eastenders, dashing about the kitchen like amad mother about to scream "Dinner!
