The 4 version is good for larger pots or frying pan but if you are just boiling water the 3 pronged version id recommend, it folds away to nothing and I think is a little more stable (not much in that though). my only gripe is I did order this 4 flex version but ended up also ordering the extra 3 prong pot stand and use that rather that the 4 prong fold away support more often now. Was a Birthday gift he loves it took it on a hike with us to have a coffee It folds up small and I am able to store it in my pot with the fuel canister.

It weighs next to nowt and combined with the MF pot it is my very own budget "Jetboil" style stove. The media could not be loaded. I did a lot of research before deciding on this, I have used many other gas stoves from trangia style to msr pocket rocket 2 and this stands out as one of if not the best.

The Soto Windmaster in the same conditions has been virtually uneffected. Well I’ve recently taken up walking for health reasons and find up on the hill a fresh brew is far superior to a flask. Putting the pot stand over the burner is a bit fiddly at first, but there is a knack to it and it's fine then. No issues firing it up or controlling the flame and it even worked in fairly windy conditions

Takes up almost no space, worked brilliantly on my recent road trip where bad weather meant I did almost all my cooking on it instead of over a fire. Here we are at 1,800 feet.

It was a toss up between buying this or the Pocket Rocket but after reading reviews and checking out prices, I went with the Soto and have no regrets. The photo shows my entire cook system I’ll be using on the UK Coast to Coast in May 2021. I've bought this as an alternative to my trusty Trangia Spirit Stove. Funny that!

The regulator value also helps keep a constant flame should the pressure drop on the gas canister too, a very handy feature. Boils water quickly and on a Welsh hill in Winter was fine. Anyway I had a copy of a jet boil which tbh I found heavy to lug around.
