My husband used to play DnD as a teenager, and this lets him get back to the fun in a very approachable way. It comes in a pretty presentation box along with the 'bag' (three actually - two used in game). It arrived the next day and so far it’s exactly as advertised. Good bit of fun and great for kids getting into board games like my 10 year old son.

I've played a few games with my son (late teens, picked it up way quicker than me) and now we've got a basic handle on the rules, I'm already thinking of ways to expand it a little. That way all the paper quality would be the same. You could easily spend some money on dice/tower and figures etc to make it fancy. Battle monsters, loot items to outfit your adventurer to battle the BBG!

I have also downloaded the extra cards from the website and with the different play modes and stories, every game feels different. You get everything you need to start playing and the rules are nicely laid out. No spoilers here! Wander in and explore, collect loot and get out if you can get past the dragon who wants his ring back.

I thought it was time to give it a try and this looked like a good entry point. No two game is the same and can be played solo on your own or with up to three others. We backed this on kickstarter when we spotted a fun, dungeon bashing game. This is now my favourite game :)If there was one thing I wish they would change, it would be to add the downloadable things to the box so I don’t have to print them out myself.

This game provides that. Build the dungeon as you go and make it to the exit before your competitors do. Such an easy game to get into and a lot of fun. The first couple of games the adventures didn't survive the beings in the tunnels, but on third try they managed to work their way out and escape with the ring of confidence, I mean creation.
