The beautiful words draw you in,you smell every scent, feel every emotion, so beautifully written that you can picture every character so well. It's a really creative, original and timely book.

It did tie up enough ends to be satisfying, though, which is a good balance to strike. It also deals well with prejudice and xenophobia, and shows how the stories we tell ourselves shape the truth at least as much as they reflect it.

'Ink' is a Young Adult novel that is almost as gorgeous as its (gorgeous, shiny, foiled) cover. Amazing book, had it 3 days and on reading it my 2nd time. I am so in love with the book and it has helped me through some tuff things.

I can't wait for the next installment; in fact, my only criticism is that by the time I was 3/4 of the way through, I could tell it was going to leave a lot open for the rest of the trilogy to pick up. Well worth a read, for adults young and old! Will definitely read the next book ‘Spark’. Wow this is a amazing book.

Despite buying it for a low price I believe it is one of the best books I have ever read. A great ending lies at the end of the novel.
