Have not tested it but I did some FE analysis (since it has a fragile look) and if what the material say is correct, you can apply up to 100kg-force load without breaking it, which I believe indicates very good value for the price point. Silverline LS24 Combination Spanner, 24 mm I bought this combination wrench to do up the nut tool on my cassette for my mountain bike. It seems to be made very nicely, I bought this for tightening up the nut on a propane tank and it does the job perfectly. Top marks.

Thanks for taking the time to read my review. I bought this product as I needed this 7mm size for the Bleed screw on my Shimano XT Brakes and having used a freebie spanner that slipped straight away damaging the screw. wild rides but not at the cost of weight. A good product for a great price - Very recommended

Closer inspection of the business end the Open C you can start to see why so cheap as pictured you can see the grinding process marks to size the gap / jaws - at least you know the spanner is precisely finished as ground where it counts. Don't get me wrong you won't be buying a drop forged Park Tool or Snap On quality product but this no where near that price and if you loose it it won't break the bank to replace especially on a Prime 1 day delivery. I didn’t expect to get such a large and well made tool for the price, but I was pleasantly surprised when this was delivered. The media could not be loaded.

This is one substantial spanner! Another point I really like is size and weight - not to long but just enough to provide enough leverage and the weight makes you feel confident that this tool will to the job. For bike repairing applications, from a fatigue point of view, it will last forever. First impression - on unwrapping the product the spanner has a smooth polished finish on the main handle which looked good for this price bracket - definitely punching above its budget.

If you are looking for a spanner for propane, this is the tool, I’m aware of cheaper specifically made “propane spanner’s” that are actually terrible, cheaply made and not fit for purpose, they’re made from stamped metal where this product is clearly forged. I can't do this with normal spanner , it really help and free delivery 👍 The wrench was very good quality and had smoothed out edges. The fit when on the nut is good and snug - not to tight but not much clearance that you may slip off - very good.

Absolutely no hesitation in recommending this tool! So not the spanner that was advertised. I wasn’t sure what size it needed and went for the 24mm version, but I’m happy to say it fitted perfectly.
