Also added a wireless transmitter by the same manufacturer which is awesome. Replaced home-brew sub with this one due to WAF(carpeted cabinet was a problem).

Watching the last Elton John concert was breathtaking! You can't go wrong with this subwoofer in terms of size, punch, and price. I let Audessy do the initial setup and a few tweaks later, voila, sound perfection. Movies with pistol fire feels and sounds like being at the gun range - very punchy and jolting!

I have it set at 50% volume fed from the AVR's LFE output. Nice subwoofer! I bought it specifically for its size so I can tuck it out of sight under the TV.

Great subwoofer from SVS . My crossovers are set at 60 Hz for mains and 80 Hz for center and surrounds. I updated my review with a photo of the rear connections. I'm an engineer and am pretty picky with the sound I am looking for.

A tip if you are using it on hard floor. I had purchased the SVS SB-2000 Pro for $800 but was not satisfied with the price per performance that it had offered. I am now running dual subwoofers and they make one hell of a difference to all movies and music .

The fact that it is sealed eliminates port noise but also makes the bass very tight and percussive. So I returned the SVS SB-2000 for the SVS SB-1000. Nice tight bass without the boomy feeling of a huge sub.
