This game is amazing, the only worthwhile ps4 exclusive around as of this writing, if you played and enjoyed any of the souls games then hands down, you will love this. Especially if you've played and enjoyed any of the previous souls titles! And I haven't even started on the chalice dungeons!

Don't be fooled by the change of scenery and name this is still a souls game through and through soExpect everything you've come to love about these games (although I must admit there isn't quite as much content as dark souls 1, but let's be honest, that game was a masterpiece in every way have and form so don't let the difference in depth sway you) despite fewer items and equipment to find and the fact you can no longer enchant weapons with various different elements such as in dark souls, this game simply doesn't need all that as the setting atmosphere and mechanics are all flawless, the attention to detail is INCREDIBLE, as an example there is one boss in the game (The Witch of Hemwick) now this boss is covered in eyeballs you'll notice it straight away, the interesting bit is that if you pay attention to all the corpses in this particular area, you'll notice that each one has it's eyes removed, very creepy! Totally new to the infamous souls series.
The entire game is full of small details like this one and makes for a truely compelling next-gen experience. Platinumed the game.
