At this point I'm still willing to move to 5 star and give it to bad quality control . The pictures in the listing looked flimsy, but they’re actually quite large and sturdy. For now I will say that this is a good tool for a low price.

Product is well sharpened and great for ergonomics. Cuts branches of decent thickness, the cuts are clean. Bought these and was waiting for spring, spring is here and they broke on a green branch no thicker then a pencil. I use these to prune my various indoor plants.

I bought these after seeing they open and close automatically without having to push them out every time you cut and it has a safety button, I had tried a pair from another company brand from Amazon before these and they didn't have a safety button and was terrible, I sent them back and took a chance on these and I am happy with these, will not be sending these shears back, this brand works just fine, I just finished pruning and it was easy I mean 27k reviews that's impressiveUpdateI wrote the site, they sent me a new pair quickly. I really like the open/close lock, and the fact that they don’t have that spring connecting the two handles that always falls off! Even sturdier, larger branches than the product claim, I tried a few branches on my lemon tree, and it cuts really well.
