Note, that's field breeds that actually work, not for spoilt house dogs who rarely move from the sofa. At the current price this Skinners Field And Trial food is excellent value for money. Brought this product in December 2020 my dogs has been sick and I just found the date on the food. .

Especially since being made with good ingredients means the daily serving suggestion is lower than some other lesser quality kibbles meaning you end up feeding a smaller amount so it actually lasts longer. Anyway, Skinners sell their food on the basis that "none of them contain artificial additives, flavourings or preservatives, just tasty, nutritionally balanced, complete foods to suit dogs of all ages. Do some research online and you'll quickly avoid many of the well knows 'popular' cheap brands.

I'll report back in a week or so because I guess most people wouldn't wish to live with that particular problem for long as it makes being a responsible dog owner particularly difficult. The kibble pieces are shaped like extra large grains of rice and like most kibble they're hard and crunchy and help with dental health. However, Bailey my English Springer Spaniel liked it in preference to his normal dried food - but we'll have to see if it stays a winner over a few weeks.

I used this product to feed my dog marley I like that it contains brown rice instead of white as although the food is quite high in carbs, being brown rice, it is slow release energy and does not cause the same blood sugar spikes as white rice.
