All reviews I'd read and all YouTube videos I'd watched about the Vostok Amphibian told me to expect a daily variation in timekeeping somewhere between +30 and -20 seconds per day. Fit & finish on this is beautiful for the price.

But one of the beauties of the Vostoks in general is the ability to regulate them with a proper case back opener and a toothpick. I was able to regulate this Vostok and it has consistently run +2 secs/day for the past 10 days which meets COSC standards for certified chronometers! Update as of August 1, 2023: Well, this Vostok hasn't held up to its +2 seconds per day variation that it displayed for the first 10 days I had it. This watch offers the best value for money for a budget or budding watch enthusiast.

These watches have a cult following for a reason. However, after 4 months it appears to have "settled in" and has consistently run between +5. Unique addition to any collection This watch is robust and durable, with interesting history and engineering.
