I felt this was particularly important due to the slightly unconventional plot which needed well written characters to keep it believable yet entertaining. This was a 🌟🌟🌟🌟 fun, crazy and surprisingly emotional read. Hannah is unlucky in love and wants to find the epic love that her grandparents had.
I felt the wedding aftermath was handled very well and added depth to the plot. Save the Date dating app is run by creator Jess and her best friend Hannah. They both seem to be looking for the same things in a partner and share common goals but will it be enough.
When the business reaches crisis point, Hannah hatches a plan to drum up new members. Jess agrees and sends out a request for potential husbands and receives over a hundred replies. As she goes about choosing Hannah's future spouse, Jess' personal life is unravelling due to the stress of keeping the business afloat, dealing with the endless needs of her twin school children and her own escalating marital problems.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~. I felt the characters each had their own individual personalities and relationship baggage which only made them more realistic and grounded as people. She manages to pick the perfect man and starts planning an amazing wedding for Hannah and her intended.
The twist is the future newlyweds won't get to meet until the day of the wedding. I was sent a copy of this book for review. As wedding themed freebies start piling in, Jess may be taking things a little too extreme in an effort to avoid her problems. When the wedding date finally arrives, will the pressures of the big day lead them to a quickie divorce rather than a quickie in the honeymoon suite?
Hannah thinks this idea will explode across social media, entice new business and find her The One. Meanwhile Hannah feels overwhelmed by the whole process, her only contact with her soon to be hubby is an online blog where they share anonymous letters to each other.
