This device allows you to input 4 channels that are recorded separately onto an SD card. It works like a dream for me. Absolutely brilliant, highly recommend if you’re a nerd like me. The final mixture gives me a radio quality performance.
I use it in a live situation where I split the signals from my guitar, my drum machine, my vocal and the bass guitar. I split each instrument before effects thus giving me 4 distinct clean channels which I am able to manipulate in my digital editing software on my iPad. So now I can go live without recording or live with recording.
This device is small enough to fit on my music stand tray along with my drum machine.
