About this deal

Description

Lowering the belt helps to increase the temperature of your fermentation while raising it will help to decrease the temperature. This includes the various stages such as malting, mashing, boiling, fermenting, conditioning, and bottling. If you're brewing in the winter or in your shed then you'll need something to make sure you keep a constant temperature up around the 20 degree mark. However, some beer styles may require longer aging periods for optimal flavor development. If it is particularly cold, put the brew belt near the bottom of the fermenter (approx 5-10 cm from the bottom). Use it on its own or with a heat pad. Available in NZ/AU onlyUse the heat belt to help maintain temperatures while your beer ferments. You may have to experiment with the belts position on your fermenter to get it at the right temperature. It works best on a plastic fermenter but can be used with care on a carboy or demijohn. Simply put the brew belt around the bottom of the vessel to heat up the brew to correct temperature.

  • Suitable for a variety of fermenters
  • Power: 220-240V, 25W, 50/60HZ

Paul Blair

Its large enough for the M3 premium which has a 10 inch screen. With a controlled temperature guage it is a must for high alcohol brewing. Lots better than the old brewing belt I previously had. I contacted the company and got an immediate responce.

Hokum

works great and can be tweaked down to only 20-25C. Initially i thought this was defective as even on the highest setting there was no heat.

Trog

With it at the temperature and the printer printing the resin will usually be around 25 degrees, takes some time and checking to get use to for your set up but it's very good easy option. The media could not be loaded. It does a fantastic job, I usually whack it up about 3/4 for an hour and gets the resin to about 15-18 degrees, then I turn it down to the last dot which sits the band at 34 degrees.

Peter Scott

Excellent. Used to heat my resin vat. This is the cheapest option to heat resin in a cold space.

STEVIE GREEN

The answer is to go past these scaling marks as they are just to show which way to turn the dial. Now i know it works a treat.
