There's no worrying about pointing it the right way, or batteries running out. The remote is easy to use, a simple one button operation. The remote is well packaged and protected, as you would always expect from Nikon genuine products.

Received in good condition but its not working. Its work nice , I tested with my nikon canera then I happy.
Canadian Prepper
I doubt it would take too much abuse, but it will certainly last you a long time if you look after it. the packaging it comes in is adequate to keep it in if you wish, although personally I prefer to just shove into the little fabric holder and then into a quick access pocket in my camera bag.

It's literally a bit of plastic with a button on it and it just works. I'm not saying I don't love the remote, because I do, and it was all I had for around a year, and I used it loads, but once I got the cable I realised that for certain situations it's more convenient, so now I am glad I have both, and I recommend you do the same if you shoot a large range of subjects.

The reason I say I go for the cable 99% of the time, Is because I do a lot of long exposure photography and the cable is better for that, and also you just plug it in, rather than having to go through the settings each time you change shooting mode to select the remote as the shooting option. I also own a shutter release cable, and I will go for the cable 99% of the time as you can set focus lock with it, use bulb mode and lock it on without having to hold it on and it always works.

It's also a little cheaper if you can only afford one of the two. 2) Seriously opens a world of possibilities for a solo photographer, as must have for the Nikon D3300. In order to use this device on the Nikon D3300 you need to do the following:1) On the back of the camera just to the bottom right of the screen there is button that has a clock and remote decal above it and a multiple photo illustration on it.
Mina
Essential for any photographer, along with a tripod, who wants to take pin sharp low speed shots. The remote is very useful for product photography, indoor shots, and shoots when the length of the shutter release cable becomes an issue. 3) Remove the battery protective plastic and press the button to take a picture!
