You definitely need two coats. Cannot comment on how well it lasts yet. Easy to use and goes a long way. Nice colour covered well 2 coats used a mini foam roller on a long handle perfect doing one board at a time.

First picture after one coat, second picture after two. Very happy 100% recommend this product. Replaced the decking about a year and a half ago so it was due a coating.

Overall result is great. Absolutely fantastic productAfter two coats it turned the dull, embarrassing deck into a fresh, dark oak coloured area. Have used 'decking stain' numerous times and it's always peeled and cracked.
