Best pizza result I have ever had barring the base, but still tasted amazing. Going to try again after i have purchased a second stone to sit on top of the first, or might try the pizza on a tray then on the stone. Anyway, it did as good as one of the BBQ pizza ovens people getWith the heat under the stone the issue will always be there of overheating the base, a proper pizza over has the heat at the sideThis one will do me for now until I get a chance to build a pizza oven!

. First time I tried it I had it in ideal heat zone but it took 10 mins to cook, the second we put a small furnace underneath on the BBQ and the heat gauge went round and started again! Takes a bit of getting used to and there is an issue with the base over cooking, but this was the same in my friends pizza oven from B&Q, we had them side by side.
