This fan does not have as much height as my other fan and sits easily at the back of my stove which is recessed into a fireplace void . I would highly recommend it. The fan has made a significant difference to the heat distribution around the room.

This unit is the right size to fit but I was concerned that its dimensions would impact performance. Nice to look at and compliments my Canadian fan I use in the back of the house ( also to great effect )I must have a very fast shutter speed on my camera because I can assure you that the fan is positively spinning at great speed when photo was taken. This fan suites my requirement perfectly, though small and unobtrusive it pushes heat around the room effectively. Quite pleased I dropped the old one and upgraded now!

The Dunsley Yorkshire heats our hot water and also distributes to CH radiators so although it has a high KW output it directs a lot of this to produce the hot water. This has not proven to be a problem.

We are not using our central heating and its -1c outside today. It gets very hot above the stove (hence why I wanted to push this heat into the room) and I was concerned that the heat differential between the base plate that sits on top of the stove and the fins above might be insufficient for the thermoelectric module to generate electricity. It also came loose inside the box with no cardboard insert so would have been rattling arpund in there.

The media could not be loaded. My other fan which I love is too tall to use effectively on this fire so purchased this 4 blade Valiant which is lightweight but strong and it works a treat distributing heat evenly around the room.

This isn't the case and the fan works quietly and effectively. It has a overheat safety device and operates quietly
