Published by Shearsman in March 2017 This collection brings my work back to the more formally literary, engaging with the 20th century European traditions that brought me into writing poetry. All people share the experience of being aware, but relatively few people are aware that they are aware. We are aware of thoughts, feelings, sensations, and perceptions. Everybody is aware, all seven billion of us. The overlooking of our own being is the root cause of all unhappiness and, therefore, the root cause of our search for happiness.
