Other guessing games such as Articulate have a timer that increases the raucous jeopardy and a simple sand egg timer would have been a good addition. First impression:👀 The box is in the usual boxed card game format with Cards Against Humanity sized container, that holds two packs of cards, 100 red character cards and 100 blue scenario cards. ✔️ The value is reasonable given the price of other games on the market that is becoming crowded. ❌ Some characters are easy enough to guess, such as Donald Trump and so game play might be a bit short for some, but the number of points required can always be extended.

I’ve knocked a star off because of the price: £25 for basically 200 printed cards is a tad pricey for my liking. (You could even write these yourself on plain paper if you could be bothered! All done in a very poor imitation of Shrek’s Scottish accent. ) but there is fun to be had here and this is a great party game.

Interestingly, everyone starts off a little bit nervous after a few drinks they soon get into it and hilarity ensues! The rest of the box is empty but this style has become the ubiquitous footprint for these types card games.

Hints are provided sometimes such as for Ellie Woods from Legally Blonde and so you can explain about the hair and how no judge is going to take it away – all within the framework of the scenario. First to five points wins.

There are no historic dictators included for example. There is scope to add some house rules, such as allowing the opposing team to make a guess for one point if they guess completely right. 👀 The game proceeds by turns of teams, guessing a character in a scenario drawn from the pack. A time limit is mentioned in the rules as a possibility and I suppose that mobile phones could be used.
