First attempt to temper the chocolate went well using Callebaut. As I mentioned, this time I melted and poured into moulds with spoons for hot chocolate stirrers - I found 80g of the drops was a perfect amount for a 200ml cup for a very rich drink. But in baking I usually use the standard Cadbury’s or Galaxy that I can get from the supermarket. I bought these to make hot chocolate stirrers for Xmas but will be buying another bag as they have turned out to be so versatile.

The chocolate melts very well with a smooth consistency and fluidity. When using it in baking, it smells amazing and tastes lovely. But THIS!

The chocolate melted into the milk quickly and easily. My chocolate snob husband was impressed with the quality and taste, I was impressed with the ease of use and the price point for the large bag. Both attempts worked out so well. Luckily it did not affect the quality of the chocolate or flavour but perhaps those items should be stored in an appropriate conditions to prevent the bloom.

Definitely will buy again. I gave it 4 starts because a couple of packets that I purchased had white fat bloom or sugar bloom on the buttons.

I used it to make chocolate chip cookies and dipped strawberries using bain-marie (i tried it with other chocolates but never get this good result) so far. Very happy with this brand of chocolate I will buy again
