Will keep an eye out as this may be a fault and will need to return. This would be a hint of soft green. Lovely colour. You can hear it boiling of course, but its a nice gentle sound.

Very lightweight when empty and there lid opens quickly at a push of a button. ! However, it is hard to tell how much water is going in when filling it. 5 liters, Green).

I tend to guage the water level by the fins inside the kettle and now I know that to the top of the fins is sufficient to fill my teapot. OMG looking for a lightweight plastic kettle because I am in a wheelchair and find it difficult to lift a kettle and my old one was stainless steel so very heavy and cumbersome this is ideal looks stylish very light . It has a very plastic feel to it and the outside to touch gets alot more hotter than my last kettle not sure if this is an issue or just how it is. This is a nice looking plastic kettle and at £25 one cannot complain too much.

I live in a soft water area so don't have to worry about "bits" in the water and have never found any with this kettle. Has a white light at the base near the switch. Its a lovely colour, only arrived yesterday so haven't had to clean as yet.

The light doesn't light up the water window which is located behind the handle. Love the way the lines of the kettle complete the toaster. It can be filled directly through the spout but it's not the easiest or most efficient way to fill it as the water overflows on anything faster than a slow stream from the tap.

I actually wasn't too enamoured with the design of this kettle so when we opened the box I was pleasantly surprised. The flex is about 75cm long. Very Happy Massively impressed.
