24 hours later though and it's great, with options for sleeping on you back, side, or stomach Putting a standard pillow underneath doesn’t really work as well, as it kind of makes the memory foam one wobble about and feel too angles up into your neck. It does have a sculpted neck cut-out from the higher side of the wedge, it works to offer an option for neck placement. However, I’m pleased to report that the pillow is in fact actually really, really comfy.

With the relative thin dimensions of the foam core it all kind of quickly averages out anyway though, but if like me you find yourself uncomfortable at 3am again and will take any small bit of adjustability you can then this is a valuable option to have in the arsenal. In fact, you can kind of feel a little smothered at times if you adjust your sleeping position in the night to sleep on your side – with the raised side-sections pushing up against your cheek or nose. .
