For several months I’ve had problems with my forearms / inner elbow and been losing grip when lifting and pulling at the gym. and for these reasons I awarded 5 Stars. I started doing weight based workouts 2 months ago, and I do it 3 x a week for one hour. Been training for 7 years now and always trained as heavy as I possibly could.

Also I found that as I get really sweaty hands when I work out that I was really putting more focus on my grip than on my technique. I got these due to a joint condition I have that has been giving me wrist issues which orevent me from going as heavy as I perhaps could, here is mt first experience with then;So, I'll be honest; I wasn't expecting much of a difference using these wrist straps. They’re easy to take on and off.

I really enjoy doing it, but I did not enjoy the new callouses forming on palms. Chest press or dips for example. With these grips I can hook my thumb alongside my fingers and there is no strain to my grip.

The Velcro wraps around your wrist and you tighten it to fit. Some might say that you develop a better grip through doing these exercises but when I’m working my back I want to feel it in my lats - not my inner elbow!

This is an excellent product. I’m really happy with the purchase, you can tell they are great quality from the look and feel, and my workouts feel much better as I can now focus on the correct technique. The straps say which is right and left but I don’t really think that matters if you were to swap them, which you may want to depending on your preference on where the Velcro opens up if (if that matters to you). My problem when using a conventional overhand grip was the strain caused using my thumb opposing the fingers.
