I prefer to use the wall plug for powering this clock so that it can stay on relatively indefinitely unless the power goes out. This clock is a cute shape and has silicon/rubber skin that covers the majority of the clock, which helps the light glow more evenly. Felt a little disappointed that the large NOT AN ALARM CLOCK/no sound label is only on the instructions and product description at the very end. So I put it on the Title of my review.

The product features that is advertised, is as advertised. I like that there is no sound function that jolts you awake, but the light is bright enough that my kids usually wake up just from the change in light in the room. Super cute aesthetics. If you happen to be a deep-enough sleeper to not notice a change in light color, you'll stay asleep, which defeats the purpose of an alarm clock.

This clock is very easy to program and easy to read. I wouldn't consider this clock a particularly useful alarm clock if you or your child are deep sleepers, however, or easily adjust to changes in light.
