After a few more hours the results were looking a lot better, although there is still room for improvement. Also I think it would really complete the kit if there was a clip to hold the polygel nail form in place while you shape the polygel before curing.

I give 4 stars for beginners as the instructions aren't very in depth so had to watch a YouTube video to teach myself. The media could not be loaded.

I've used it for the first time today and it's the 'Perfect Pink' polygel on my nails and did it as an overlay. The dual forms are the nice flat ones with a natural looking shape to them and are also really good quality although they are quite small. Excellent quality kit, the polygel was a dream to use, stiffer consistency but not too stiff, not sticky at all, I hardly had to wet my brush with the slip solution 125ml which is a fantastic slip solution too, the prep liquid is nice as well being a big 250ml bottle will last ages too.

The lamp is super powerful it cured the polygel in half the recommend time completely cured it solid, the buttons however are on the back so if like me you do your own nails you'd have to get used to where they are on the back which didn't take me long at all, they are touch sensitive button's so they're easy enough to find and touch. The polygel colours are big 60ml tubes and really nice colours. So quick and easy to use and so happy with the results.

I got this with my daughter in mind who, with a new baby, doesn't have time to get out for a manicure. In addition are clear instructions on how to properly remove the gel polish.

Everything is included to get started and it all seems to be good quality and effective - the results will vary depending upon your skill levels - and for the money it seems to represent good value for money compared to getting the procedure done in a salon. It does seem a little expensive but makes a wonderful gift. All of the bits and pieces seem to be of good quality and the lamp is durable and produces a really good amount of UV light. As with any beauty products it is good to know its cruelty free and suitable for the widest group of possible users including vegans.

This kit contains everything needed to start applying your own polygel nails. I do think the lamp is quite small and would be easy to bump your nails going in and out but does pack a punch it's so powerful. Recommended There is a clear note to expect nails to be ‘tacky’ until the process is completed.
