From the pictures I thought it would be a felt texture but it feels more like a smooth duct tape-kind of surface. Moleskin was working kind of but not completely. I tried moleskin and other preventatives, but Engo works and stays out.

I think they are expensive considering they have a 6 week suggested time frame, but I’ll be buying them again when needed. A bit pricey but cheaper than forking money to buy another pair of trainers. Using rubbing alcohol on the surface of the sneaker, cutting and smaller patch from the larger oval and then drying with a hair dryer all seemed to help.

These patches have completely stopped this happening; I can feel the smooth movement of the sock against the patch. I smoothed out the patch as I applied it to the shoe, and followed it up with 20-30 seconds of blow dryer heat; and then I wore the shoes to help with the adhesion. Unfortunately it isn’t returnable via Amazon which is disappointing given the cost.

! I can't say enough good things about these patches. I attached directly to the sole as seen in picture and they seem to work for now, ran 15km earlier this week and all is good.

My arches fell so I get blisters when I run unless I use the Engo blister prevention pads. This was the case with my latest pair of Brooks Beasts. Highly recommended.

I have to admit, that worked like magic! I applied the large oval patch on the backs of my shoe and then used a scissor to cut the tips into strips (in the pictures) so that they could fold nicely on the edges. I was out of shape. Very adhesive and comfortable.
