It's a story of changes a. This would be a wonderful read aloud book, and encourage us all to notice the small things, and forage in hedgerows! The trio leave their beloved home in search of answers.

Utterly delightful: beautifully written, funny, great characters, engaging plot, loads of interesting incidental learning about the natural world and relationships. Either flap can act as a page keeper if you can bear to put the book down long enough. Melissa Harrison’s reimagining of B.

With only bravery, resourcefulness and a few animal friends to guide them, they begin to discover what can be done. It is truly magical. Reading between the lines, it has a meaningful purpose, explained by Barry Cunningham (Publisher) alongside the title page:🍃 ‘I live in the countryside but, even so, I don’t pay enough attention to nature. a sheer delight.

and that is REALLY hard to do once you are touched by the lives of the ‘HIDDEN FOLK’! Highly recommended, superlatives are not enough. I think anyone of any age would enjoy this wonderful book.

It's magical and whimsical. For those more mature readers too, this is great escapism and very relatable to those more traditional books such as The Wind in the Willows. Next up is ‘WATCHING THE WILD WORLD’, with short paragraphs from March to August, which makes for interesting reading, as does ‘MORE TO DISCOVER’ that winds up the book, with a handful of suggested things to ‘READ’, ‘WATCH’ & ‘DO’.
