The only part of the grater I worry about is the bottom metal ring, it seems to be tack welded all around the base rather than having the base of the metal bent around the bottom ring like the top. However, when the carrot is in my left hand, I have to hold my hand at an odd, tiring angle. But it is well worth the price if you shred and grate a lot.

This is without a doubt the best grater I have ever owned the quality is superior . slant of the holes. The quality of the cut is far better on this manual graiter.

2. But with this little beauty carrots just shred themselves. The main reason why I decided to buy this one was the was the vintage looking design and the stainless steal finish. I've tried to show the surface and how it doesn't dig into the pith as much as my old grater.

It is so much easier. I am left handed, Hence the problem. It seems more than adequate though and I've been pretty hard on it in general. The surfaces are slick and the cutting edges are scary sharp.

The cutting edges are designed for right handed cooks. As it were, I have to reach across the face of the grater and pull the carrot back across and down the face of the grater. This thing is so freaking tactical, well made and sharp that I successfully defended my family and home against an angry ninja army with it. Both parts are sturdy.

I have a few years of cooking experiece as a prep cook and I would use a expensive automatic graiter for large amounts of food. If I am standing behind the grater, holding the carrot for example in my right hand, it aligns well with the angle or . They were.

After using this grater for some months I have finally figured out why it doesn’t work as well for me as for other users. Once you have it in your hands and use it for the first time you can feel the outstanding quality, Beside of the very good looking it is very robust and the cutting features are really sharp and it very easy to clean.
