Albie's mum dies. It has a wonderful mixture of physics and story telling with some truly relatable characters thrown in. Any book that you read in one day has to get five stars! This book deals with grief and death in a beautiful way, making you laugh and cry along the way.

He is able to interweave complex scientific ideas elegantly through a story all about the lose and subsequent search for a loved one .

Read both and let me know what you decide! I can't decide whether this or Maisie Day are my favourite Christopher Edge novel. After reading and loving The infinite lives of Maisie Day, I decided to buy Christopher Edge's other science based novels. A brilliant scientific story for children and adults to like .
I couldn’t wait to find out what was going to happen with Albie and felt so connected to his journey through his grief and the things he learnt in his trips to other worlds. Who doesn't want to know more about quantum physics and Schroeder's Cat?
