It seems like a magical book when you hold it. Every year since I was in kindergarten all the way into the last years of middle school: I asked my mother for this book— seeing it on the top shelf on display in the scholastic book fair.

I was always told no and I was too short to ever take it off the top shelf to ever even look at it. I certainly hope to read and explore all the other books soon! I may be a little biased, as I grew up with a copy of this book. It gives a detailed description of dragons in each region of the world as if they really existed!

All-in-all, this book is perfect for kids and adults alike who enjoy the majesty and mystery of dragons from around the world and who would have fun translating things from all around the book from dragon into English. I tried to gently separate them but I am pretty disappointed and I’m sure my daughter will be too. I’m hoping the new one I ordered to replace it won’t be glued together.

Adults will enjoy this along with their children. My only criticism would be that the wording is a bit advanced for a 5yr old.
