Completely hopeless iOS software. I've never seen such images of deep sky objects with such ease. Very nice smart scope and very easy to use, once you understand the documentation.

Long exposures are a breeze and it can be powered externally with a battery pack for super long exposures. Dwarf should be able to make something that far exceeds the other with a few improvements.

Highly recommended! This is already to take pictures in minutes. the app is getting a major update soon. For wildlife enthusiasts, the Dwarf II opens up a whole new world of exploration.

def worth getting one I'm wondering what Dwarf 3 could be? pic shows the North American nebula, from an urban location and misty night. The app is currently a little buggy and you need to be patient but it does work.

I live by the beach. The Dwarf lab team was very receptive to suggestions which has made vast improvements in the system. You can take lots of pictures in minutes, even in places where the stars are almost invisible in the city. After acquiring location information with a smartphone, the target is automatically introduced simply by raising the lens 45 degrees or more and calibrating it.

They do offer chat level help for those having trouble getting started (which I didn't use). Updated March 2024- When I first bought the Dwarf II in Sept 2023, the software was atrocious- buggy and VERY unintuitive.
