The soft bristles are suitable for gums, too. The downsides to the kit is the app however. The toothbrush holds its charge much better than my previous model and also charges quicker so it's good to see these advances in technology.

• Pro-Clean/Deep Clean -- Suitable if you want your brain vibrated out of your head. There are different challenges on the app that you can set up for yourself, I started with the Teeth Whitening brush head & the Fresh Breath programme. - Much more expensive that previous versions- Wall/mirror mount sometimes falls off - might damage phone- Position technology does not work so well- Brush heads costs might be higher than new manual brush each timeConclusion: If I had to repurchase, I would go with 6000, as I do not like what 8000 and 9000 bring. From you phone you can set up if you want to just general clean or set yourself on a cleaning programe, I tried the whitining programme which was the duration of 2 weeks, it sets your tooth brush to just the 2 settings which is great as you then don't need to jump through all the settings , but could be an outing of someone else is also using the tooth brush as it will be set up on that mode.

Bluetooth connection is a breeze and if you use the mobile phone holder provided and brush your teeth in front of your phone you can see in real time the areas that have not been brushed enough . I have noticed a vast improvement in my the way my mouth feels & my breath is a lot fresher. The travel case is so handy if you’re going away or need to go hospital. The brush heads are only sold in white though.

It has now been 2 weeks since I have started actively using Oral-B Genius 8000. If you’re willing to spend a little more money on your oral care, this is definitely worth it. This toothbrush is so good and i would recommend it, it is definitely worth the money!

Different cleaning options to suit all family ( soft - for kids and those with gum problems, whitening for those who want their teeth back, etc). CrissCross technology is effective at removing plaque along the gum line and between teeth. The product I tried is the 8000 series and Ian extremely happy with it.
