Replacing the outer blades is recommended every year and the inner blades every two years – as far as I can see the prices are not unreasonable. Furthermore: very user-friendly. EXCELLENT SERVICE.

Overall, a shaver must be judged by the quality of shave it delivers, this Panasonic version delivers an outstanding shave as well as looking/feeling well made and incorporating some handy features. ><.

The unit fits comfortably into the hand and you can change the pivot action of the head. I had let my beard grow for a few days before receipt and the shaver whipped it off with no effort leaving a smooth skin.
