Heat retention is very good. It heats up really well and is good for steak or sealing meat before roasting.

I find this fine as I have much larger pans which are as heavy and its not intended for pancake flipping. I hope you found this review helpful.
Pinnacle Vision
The solid metal handle is curved and easy to hold with strong rivets, the pan can be used in the oven the handle will get hot. I loved the packaging it came in. The handle is stamped into the pan and is long lasting and it feels so nice to hold and doesn't get hot from cooking.

This is not as non-stick as a new Teflon type coated pan, an egg with no oil is always a good test. The handle is stainless steal and does not get hot (can be held with unprotected hand). It does require preparation, washing a few times before use then applying a thin oil coating with a high smoke point oil such as peanut, grape seed, sunflower, lard and then heat until it starts to smoke then leave to cool.
Looked really premium and came in a draw string dust bag. 5cm with a curved side which takes it to 24cm.
It is heavier than standard pans, the 24cm one weighs 1. This Tower Titan 24cm pan comes packed into a nice looking drawstring fabric bag and then into a strong glossy retail box.
I used some peanut oil which I tend to use in my wok which I had to season when I first got it as well so Im used to the whole seasoning process and aftercare. This pan is the solution and with care it should last a very long time. The issue I believe is standard Teflon and similar non-stick pans cannot tolerate high temperatures and over time this starts to impact on the non-stick coating and weakens and starts flaking away.
