Having had genuine Nikon grips in the past, I wasn’t sure what I was going to get with this. In case this shows for a different model, this was for a Nikon D500 so it’s an MBD-17 replacement. I have to say that I am astounded by the quality of this grip for the price - roughly a tenth of Nikons price.

The quality is really good, fitment is perfect, buttons work and are not floppy or loose, and the overall feel is not significantly different to the genuine article. I’d have no hesitation in recommending this product, and will definitely use the Neewer brand for any future grip requirements.

The only gotcha for me was having to turn it on - however, once that little trick was found, I found it incredibly easy to use.
