I'm guessing the variation in reviews has to be down to how long the product has stood on the shelf and the conditions it has been stored in. I had a very difficult time getting it out of the tube however and ended up scooping it out of the bottom with a plastic knife after giving up on trying to squeeze it out of the top.

If you're looking to patch up worn out mortar this stuff is excellent; very sturdy and hardens fairly quickly. When package arrived it was open and one of the two items were missing It is however, a very pale pink colour when it dries as opposed to the sand colour it's advertised as so I have noticeable pink patches around my brickwork now.

Took a gamble due to the negative reviews. Mixed reviews had me seriously doubting this product.

It wasn't too hard or too sloppy and I shaped and smoothed much of it with my finger once I'd squeezed it into the recess. Needed something to fill a garden bird bath pedestal after it had been smashed into 3 pieces and gorilla glued. However, for just over £4 delivered, I didn't see I had very much to lose by trying it. This was absolutely perfect, came out so easily after a quick 10 min soak in warm water, moulded to shape and hardened off in a couple days, even inch deep holes.

I'm very satisfied with the results and it hardened nicely overnight. Sanded down after, and job done! Aesthetic disaster aside, I feel better knowing the gaps are sealed up. The product was fit-for-purpose and was easy enough to use.

Purchased this to point up a small section of failed mortar above the garage, easy to apply, I used a 13mm pointing trowel and put a small amount on a a time, building it up until it was flush with the stone, colour match was good, better than the existing cement (see grey either side of stone) I allowed it to dry, which took 15 minutes in the sun, then used a soft bristle brush to go over once done.
