About this deal
No need to count points! The city has never been so alive! Carcassonne is a tile-placement game in which players draw and place a tile with a piece of southern French landscape on it. ” Since players place only one tile and have the option to place one meeple on it, turns proceed quickly even if it is a game full of options and possibilities. When you close a street with one or more kids of your colour, you get to put your pawns on the board. When that area is complete, that meeple scores points for its owner.

I thought I had completely lost touch with board games until I happened upon this game in a coffee shop and watched a few friends play. This allows for more strategy and adds some logical challenge.

Sometimes it’s hard to see where exactly a meeple is place, e. It is similar in content and goals, but much less cutthroat and invites friendlier gameplay without the worry that your best friends will become your dire enemy.

If you aren't crafty I'm sure you could use a paper bag from your local grocer. You can play by drawing random tiles, building the map by chance. There are a variety of strategies within this game: The quick game. You will likely enjoy the fun and simplicity of this game if you like Settlers of Catan and Civilization.
Hope this helps. One of my big issues with board games is that they can be such a commitment. Enjoy the game! I would definitely recommend this expansion.
If you bump the table, the meeples may shift and you can have a disaster on your hands. Regarding quality, the tiles are well made out of solid industrial cardboard. Another great aspect of the game is that you can pretty much customize the difficulty.
