But, without a keyboard it's just another tablet. It also comes with a loop which you can optionally stick to the keyboard for pen storage, but I honestly don't think it's a good solution so I don't use it. It goes everywhere.

It is so compact that it goes everywhere that my Surface does. They also have four levels of backlighting (white light) and are made from a nice, premium material, and the keyboard itself is made of a soft felt-like material. It doesn't bother me that much since my language is spanish and I was expecting an english layout keyboard but still is a little bit weird.

I love how the fabric covers most of the side of the Surface as well. Key travel and response are excellence and a joy to type on.

The trackpad is lightyears beyond what I expected. The magnets in the connecting hardware are very strong, but not enough to cause any damage. Keyboards with short key travel are hard to type on for long periods of time. Mine has been shoved into book bags, placed on tables, and touched by dirty hands.
