My daughter age 8 is an avid reader, she has read SO many books, but these books are her favourite. My son has read every book in the series multiple times. Then went back through the older books once again.

Like the story was just too rushed. I feel like it needed more to it nothing really happened it was mostly just Sophie’s boy drama through the whole thing. So I highly recommend them! Kind of disappointing but I still totally recommend the rest of the series.

I know this photo isn’t a glamorous review photo, but it captures the absolute LOVE that one child has had for this series for the past few years. It literally saved our sanity through the pandemic. So while I have not read them personally, my son insists they are better than HP because they “use REAL magic” and it’s “much funner. But I’ll admit this was my least favorite book I will agree with other reviews that while reading the book, it felt…wrong.
He reads them while walking into school, in no particular order anymore - he will grab whichever one is closest and read it for a while. Love Shannon Messangers books 💙 Then grab a different one and read that in the car, keeps a different one in his room… and eventually they all end up in the car because he won’t put them down.
He read this new one in 4 days, skipping screen time and video games. When is 10 coming out she keeps asking every week!
I absolutely love, love, love this series. ” He is anxiously awaiting the next book, movies, and a theme park dedicated to the series 😀
