My hair is shiny and silky as soon as I use this product, you really don’t need a lot so a bottle lasts a good amount of time. I repeat this on the other side and back. After straightening my hair, I pump 1/2 pea size lotion into my palm, lightly rub hands together, then apply to one side of my head focusing on the ends. It calms crazy ends and adds a silky smooth softness.

I have very thick, coarse, bleached hair and this product makes it shiny and super soft after I blow dry it. Too much can leave a greasy feel and look. I apply it on damp hair before drying to keep the hair straight.
