Simply finger tighten each connection as mush as you can, rotate the valve to it's final position, and finish tightening an additional 1/2 turn with a wrench fin ensure a tight fit. Note: Be careful you don't strip the plastic thread on the toilet bowl tank. The connections have been absolutely leak free. I ordered this T-adapter for the Lux Bidet Neo 120 (the Neo 120 comes with a plastic T-adapter with no valve). Some reviewers who feel the water pressure/force of the bidet is to harsh have said you can lower it by adjusting the lever on this valve.
