I wouldn't recommend this for a first deck, or a very beginner but it's good. This deck is gorgeous ,beautiful fantasy feeling to the cards and useful small guidebook with the interpretation of the cards.

Try it you might like it too. The media could not be loaded. The pictures on the cards are very different than traditional tarot, and because of that, for some readings, I attribute the meaning of the card to the pictures more so then the standard definition. I like it, it's different.

Such as the 2 of wands, in my reading is something completely different than standard meaning. The edges are greyish, didn't like them and I used my silver Sharpie to give them some life. Received them very quickly and they look beautiful. .

The art is beautiful, however some of the images are confusing and I can't figure out how they connect to the traditional RW deck. I bought this as I don't connect with the Raider Waite Smith tarot and I was looking for an alternative.

Overall a lovely deck, easy to connect with. haven't opened fully or used as they are a christmas/yule gift. Because of this I don't recommend this deck for beginners. Stunning deck, beautiful artwork, very easy to read.

I really like these cards. The box is not great quality, cards are a bit thin but I don't mind, the artwork really compensates the minuses for me. For someone who has the deck memorized this would be a great deck. I bought a second deck just to clarify, so I can be in complete understanding with this deck.
