For medical purposes, cotton balls (50g) are used to stop or prevent bleeding from minor punctures such as injections. They may be secured in place with tape. Cotton balls are also used in the application and the removal of makeup. Cotton ballsare soft enough that they can be used to clean babies.

Need a few to remove makeup but I really got them for display on my dressing table on decorative glass jars that are part of a set. These are quite small but they are very soft.
