Even though it was written before the cost of everything increased, I priced up the beef hotpot and it came in at £5. I've never used a cookery book as much as I've used this one.

There are loads of popular and appealing recipes that even the kids want to eat! Finally a cookbook that is easy to follow, has ingredients that exist in a normal supermarket and recipes that don't break the bank. The only downside is how long the meals take to cook. Having looked at a few supermarket recipe cards & celeb chef cookbooks focusing on low budget meals I read this with interest I also costed some of the recipes & they really do cost less than a Fiver, without having to buy from different shops.

I'm a real fan of this book. 25 (July 2023). As I work full time & am still on a budget this cookbook is also helping me save money. Lots of vegan recipes too so now the whole family can enjoy the same dinner!

Thank you Mitch! ! The buying & cooking tips at the front of the book are really helpful too.

But its worth it because they are so tasty. So far my favourite is the beef hotpot. I borrowed a copy from my local library so basically I am very happy : ) I adapted the chicken traybake a bit & it was very yummy. Recipes are easy to follow, photos are enticing so it's a 10/10 from me.
