People who have gorged themselves on Newspapers, Books etc thinking they know Harry. He doesn’t attempt to paint himself as innocent, nor does he bash everything in his path as the tabloids have painted it. Some passages are mundane, most are weighty. I salute him for putting his family first and standing up to the speculation and lies printed in the media.

When I put the book down I was thankful I had made the right decision to stop buying those Newspapers years ago. Sections of our Press have done our country a HUGE disservice. And, yet, I clearly get that Harry feels his considerable pain was brushed aside by a family well versed in the art of 'getting on with it' and protecting the Crown.

In Spare, Prince Harry has shared his personal accounts of pain and trauma, with bits of humour and descriptions of cherished memories along the way.
