A nice little nip on the cold winters night, its going down a treat. Bell's whisky was definitely better many years ago when every bottle was aged a minimum of 8 years, but unfortunately price competition forced bells to come away from that, more recently things things have got even worse as regulations were relaxed allowing whisky's to call themselves malt whisky when only 3 years old, it used to be a 10 years, and personally I think nothing of these new young malt whiskies, I think a blended whisky such as bells is every bit as good as any 'young' malt whisky. Bought on sale, came very well packaged nice and secure in doubled up strong box. Ideal gift or just as a treat, I like mine in a coffee when its cold outside.

If you're looking for an inexpensive tasty whisky that's tasty and not overly harsh you won't go far wrong with bells. Overall bells whisky is my favourite blended whisky, it has a good rounded body, oaky notes andflavour without too much of the sharpness that some of the competition has, even those that are a more expensive.
