09/blade compared to ~£2. The 37c is a a BMW M3. I would say this piece is for experienced safety razor users only.

I bought this before I bought the slant blade(37c)Merkur. I would say the Futor is a Saturday/Sunday shave, where you can take time, hot flannels and all that kind of shave. Can't compare with other DE razors as this is my first but for what you'll save in blade costs (£0.

The shaving head itself is bulky and makes under the nose shaving difficult. Fantastic build quality, smooth head adjustment with an accurate blade alignment and a tight lock up.
