What surprised me the most is it was in areas mainly where no one seemed to walk. I used a wallpaper paste brush on the end of an extension pole and it took no time to apply. 50 a tin, it took approx 2 and half tins to paint this large area with one coat. I have not given 5 stars as It hasn’t passed the test of time yet.

The colour was a bit unexpected, I was hoping for a darker shade. My decking is old and patch worked in places where rotten boards have been replaced with new boards. . We have walked on the decking after it’s rained and it’s definitely appears to be less slippery.

5 litres of Cuprinol anti-slip decking stain Vermont Green. Although the colour says ‘natural’ it is not neutral as I assumed.

It is super easy to apply, although we tried both a small and a large head paint brush to apply it but we found the small paint brush easier to apply it with and to get the the edges and it also made the paint go that bit further. Applied three coats and looks good. 5 liters are enough to cover 20 meters with 2 layers using brush. I personally haven’t had any problems with slipping only a couple of years ago when we had the beast from the east which would make any surface slippery when turning to ice.

We just about got the area covered with the 2 tins. Our decking area was around 16m2 and we needed 2 tins to cover the area with 2 coats. We recently put down new wooden decking.
