Being in the southern hemisphere, the cane season runs from July through November. Nose: Spiced, sweet and thick with molasses, cassia and hints of clove.

The bottle is also lovely, nice and slim so fits on a shelf easily, with a very funky label. Really recommend the sweet vanilla-y flavour of this one, however if you don't like your rums sweet this one isn't for you. Is a lower priced rum at under £20 but doesn't taste cheap at all, I have even bought this as a gift for several rum loving friends as its not one you will find in the supermarket. This is an amazing sipping rum!

First tried this rum in Edinburgh several years ago and fell in love. Wow. !
I have it with coke and a slice of lime but you could even drink this one neat over ice. It reminds me of the original Sailor Jerry. It is a very sweet rum with strong vanilla flavour, I taste the vanilla more than the other spices.
